アトピー性皮膚炎(AD)患者を対象としたGSK2894512クリームの用量探索試験
This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of two concentrations (0.5 percent \[%\] and 1%) and two application frequencies (once a day and twice a day) of GSK2894512 cream for the topical treatment in adolescent and adult subjects with atopic dermatitis. Results from this study will be considered when selecting the most appropriate concentration of GSK2894512 cream and application frequency in future clinical studies. This is a multicenter (United States, Canada, and Japan), randomized, double-blind (sponsor-unblind), vehicle-controlled, 6-arm, parallel-group, dose-finding study in adolescent and adult subjects with atopic dermatitis. Two concentrations of GSK2894512 cream (0.5% and 1%) and a vehicle control cream will be equally randomized and evaluated following application to all atopic dermatitis lesions (except on the scalp) once daily (evening) or twice daily (morning and evening) for 12 weeks. This study will consist of 3 periods: up to 4 weeks screening, 12 weeks double-blind treatment, and 4 weeks post-treatment follow-up. The total duration of subject participation will be approximately 16 to 20 weeks. Approximately 270 adolescent and adult males and females subjects with atopic dermatitis will be screened in order to have at least 228 randomized subjects (38 subjects for each of the 6 treatment groups) and approximately 204 evaluable subjects overall. Approximately 30 subjects will be randomized in Japan to achieve at least 24 evaluable Japanese subjects.

The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ramucirumab in combination with erlotinib as compared to placebo in combination with erlotinib in previously untreated participants with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring an activating epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutation (Exon 19-Del and Exon 21 L858R). Safety and tolerability of ramucirumab in combination with erlotinib will be assessed in Part A before proceeding to Part B. The purpose of Part C is to determine the efficacy and safety of ramucirumab in combination with gefitinib in previously untreated East Asian participants with EGFR mutation-positive metastatic NSCLC and of ramucirumab in combination with osimertinib in those participants whose disease progressed on ramucirumab and gefitinib and that have T790M - positive metastatic NSCLC.

健康な日本人男性を対象としたデュタステリドカプセルの生物学的同等性試験
This will be a single center, open-label, single dose, randomized and 2-way crossover study in healthy Japanese male subjects under fasting conditions. The study will be conducted to determine the bioequivalence between dutasteride capsules manufactured at GSK (test product) and dutasteride capsule manufactured at Catalent (reference product) in healthy Japanese male subjects. Subjects will have a screening visit within 30 days prior to the first dose of study treatment, two treatment periods separated by 28-days washout period, a re-visit 10-14 days after the second dose for the first follow-up and a second follow up via telephone 50-54 days after the second dose. The total duration of the study will be approximately 15 weeks from screening to the second follow up.

うっ血性心不全を伴う糖尿病患者におけるDPP-4阻害薬と血清BNP値
We thought to investigate the influence of DPP-4 inhibitor on the serum BNP level of diabetic patients with congestive heart failure. This study consists of two protocols. In the first protocol, diabetic patients with high level of serum BNP (100-2000 pg/ml) receiving outpatient treatment with any type of DPP-4 inhibitor at our institution will be enrolled. After baseline data collection, DPP-4 inhibitor will be suspended for one month and serum BNP will be measured. The DPP-4 inhibitor will be resumed and after another month, serum BNP will be measured again. In the other protocol, diabetic patients who were hospitalized due to heart failure were enrolled. DPP-4 inhibitor will be started (if the patient is not taking a DPP-4 inhibitor) or suspended (if the patient is taking a DPP-4 inhibitor) after stabilization of heart failure, and serum BNP will be measured before and after the drug administration or suspension.

The primary objective of this trial is to assess the safety of an uninterrupted dabigatran etexilate periprocedural anticoagulant regimen compared to an uninterrupted warfarin regimen in Non-Valvular Atrial Fibrillation (NVAF) patients undergoing Atrial Fibrillation (AF) ablation in a PROBE (Prospective, randomized, open label, blinded end point) active controlled study. Secondary objectives are to assess additional safety endpoints and efficacy in this clinical setting. It is not intended to assess confirmatory hypothesis, this is an exploratory study.

Primary Objective: To demonstrate the reduction of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) by alirocumab administration as add-on therapy to non-statin lipid modifying therapy (LMT) including diet therapy alone or the lowest strength of statin in comparison with placebo after 12 weeks of treatment in participants with hypercholesterolemia. Secondary Objective: * To evaluate the effect of two treatment regimens of alirocumab on other lipid parameters: apolipoprotein B (Apo-B), non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (non HDL-C), total cholesterol (TC), lipoprotein (a) (Lp\[a\]), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), triglyceride (TG), and apolipoprotein A-1 (Apo A-1). * To evaluate the safety and tolerability of alirocumab administration. * To evaluate the development of anti-alirocumab antibodies. * To evaluate the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profiles of alirocumab administration. * To evaluate the long-term safety in participants receiving open-label alirocumab administration.

The objective of this investigation is to assess safety and effectiveness of Xarelto under practice routine use in VTE secondary prevention after acute DVT, focusing on hemorrhagic-related AEs, recurrent venous thromboembolism (PE/DVT), all-cause mortality. This study is a company sponsored, one- arm prospective cohort study with patients to whom Rivaroxaban treatment for VTE (PE/DVT) has been chosen. The study includes a standard observation period (1 year) and an extension survey period (2 years, at the longest).

Multicenter Prospective Phase II Study for Neoadjuvant S-1 and Concurrent Radiotherapy for Borderline Resectable Pancreatic Cancer RATIONALE: Borderline resectable pancreatic cancer is frequently related to a positive surgical margin and has a poor prognosis after resection. Neoadjuvant chemoradiation with intensive local effect may lead to substantial local control and prolongation of survival in borderline resectable pancreatic cancer. PURPOSE: This phase II trial assess efficacy and safety of neoadjuvant S-1 and concurrent radiotherapy for borderline resectable pancreatic cancer.
