日本人表皮水疱症患者におけるオレオゲルS10の安全性と有効性に関する研究
The goal of this clinical trial is to learn if Oleogel-S10 gel works to treat skin wounds from two types of inherited epidermolysis bullosa (EB): junctional EB (JEB) or dystrophic EB (DEB) in the Japanese population. Children and adults may participate. The trial also looks at the safety of Oleogel-S10 gel. The main questions it will answer are: * Does Oleogel-S10 gel close wounds from JEB or DEB within 45 days or reduce the size of the wounds? * Are there any medical problems when using Oleogel-S10 gel? * How much of the drug ends up in your blood? The study has 2 parts. In Part 1, participants will: * Apply Oleogel-S10 gel to the EB wound dressings at least once every 4 days for 45 days. * Visit the clinic once every 2 weeks for checkups and tests. If participants complete Part 1, they may participate in Part 2 if they choose to. In Part 2, participants will continue to receive Oleogel-S10 gel until the product is available to buy in Japan or until the trial is stopped by the company.
潰瘍性大腸炎患者におけるSAR441566の有効性と安全性を調査する研究
This is a Phase 2, multinational, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, dose ranging study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of SAR441566 in adults with moderate-to-severe UC. The primary objective of this study is to assess efficacy of different doses of SAR441566 on clinical remission in participants with moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis. This study will include a screening period of up to 28 days (+ 7 calendar days if needed) followed by the main study treatment period of 52 weeks which will be comprised of a double blind (DB) treatment period with 12 weeks of induction period followed by a maintenance period of 40 weeks and 2-week follow-up after end of treatment. Additionally, an Open Label (OL) period of up to 40 weeks will be offered to eligible participants. * The study duration will be up to 59 weeks. * The treatment duration will be up to 52 weeks in the DB arm and up to 40 weeks in the OL arm. * The number of visits will be 12 for the main study treatment period and 8 for the OL treatment period.

Introduction: Spinal bracing remains the gold standard for conservative management of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS). However, poor adherence often limits treatment efficacy. The development of a brace that enhances compliance while maintaining sufficient corrective force is crucial. This study aimed to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a novel semi-rigid brace for AIS based on wearing time and correction rate. Materials and Methods: The investigators enrolled patients who met the following Scoliosis Research Society (SRS) criteria for brace treatment: (1) confirmed AIS diagnosis, (2) Risser sign ≤ 2, (3) Cobb angle between 25° and 40°, (4) age ≥ 10 years, and (5) single-curve pattern. Wearing time was objectively measured over 180 days using embedded temperature sensors. Correction rates were assessed at initiation and after 180 days or more.

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a common type of lung cancer where abnormal cells in the lungs grow out of control. The purpose of this study is to assess adverse events and change in disease activity of telisotuzumab adizutecan compared to standard of care (SOC). Telisotuzumab adizutecan is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of NSCLC. This study will be divided into two stages, in the first stage (phase 2) participants will receive 1 of 2 doses of telisotuzumab adizutecan. In the second stage (phase 3) participants will receive the recommended phase 3 dose (RP3D) of telisotuzumab adizutecan, from the previous stage, or SOC. Approximately 430 adult participants with NSCLC will be enrolled in the study in 200 sites around the world. In phase 2, participants will receive 1 of 2 intravenous (IV) doses of telisotuzumab adizutecan. In phase 3, participants will receive the IV RP3D of telisotuzumab adizutecan, or SOC. The study will run for a duration of approximately 69 months. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at an approved institution (hospital or clinic). The effect of the treatment will be frequently checked by medical assessments, blood tests, questionnaires and side effects.

The study treatment, BAY 3713372, is under development to treat MTAP (methylthioadenosine phosphorylase)-deleted solid tumors. It is thought to work by blocking the protein arginine N-methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5). This may kill the MTAP-deleted cancer cells while sparing the normal cells. The main objective of this first-in-human study is to learn how safe BAY 3713372 is, how the body processes it, and how well it works in people with MTAP-deleted solid tumors. For this, the researchers will study and analyze: * the number of participants who have adverse events (AEs) after receiving different doses of BAY 3713372 and the AE's severity. * the number of participants who experience dose-limiting toxicities (DLTs) after receiving different doses of BAY 3713372, the DLT's severity and how often they happened. A DLT is a pre-defined medical problem caused by a specific dose of a drug that is too severe to continue using that dose. * the total amount of BAY 3713372 in participants' blood (also called AUC) over time after single and multiple doses. * the highest level of BAY 3713372 in participants' blood (also called Cmax) after single and multiple doses. Other than the main objective, researchers will also check for the number of participants who show a response to treatment and how long they live without the cancer getting worse. The study participants will take part in one of the seven distinct groups or "intervention cohorts" of the study. The study will start with a dose escalation phase where distinct groups of participants will receive different doses of BAY 3713372 alone to find the dose that is deemed safe and works best for the participants. When this dose has been found, a larger number of participants will receive BAY 3713372 alone or with other treatments in a dose expansion phase. Participants may take the study treatment as long as they benefit from the treatment without any severe medical problems. Participants will visit the study site: * at least twice before the treatment starts * multiple times when they start taking the treatment * once after 30 days of receiving the last dose and every 9 weeks after that until the cancer worsens, or the participant stops for any other reason During the study, the doctors and their study team will: * check participants' health by performing tests such as blood and urine tests, and checking heart health using an electrocardiogram * check if the participants' cancer has grown and/or spread using computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and, if needed, bone scan * take tumor samples The study doctors and their team will contact the participants every 3 months until 2 years after the last participant's last dose or the end of the study to learn about the participant's health.

The goal of this clinical trial is to test in Japanese adults who feel sleepy when they wake up. The question it aims to answer are: •Does taking plasmalogens reduce sleepiness upon waking? Participants will be given the following tasks: * Take 4 capsules daily containing plasmalogens for 12 weeks. * Answer the questionnaire on sleepiness1 when they wake up. * Answer the questionnaire on daytime sleepiness2. Researchers will compare plasmalogens and placebo groups to see if plasmalogens reduce sleepiness upon waking.

This is a Phase III, multicentre, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of baxdrostat versus placebo, on the reduction of Seated Blood Pressure (SBP) and achieving normalization of the Renin Angiotensin Aldosterone System (RAAS) in approximately 180 participants ≥ 18 years of age with Primary Aldosteronism (PA), with or without prior treatment with Mineralocorticoid Receptor Antagonists (MRAs) or potassium-sparing diuretics. Baxdrostat (or placebo) will be administered once daily, up-titrated after 2 weeks based on clinical response and tolerability. The study is planned to be conducted globally in approximately 90 study centres and 12 countries.

The goal of this observational study is to determine how often lymph node metastases occur in the splenic hilum and surrounding fat in patients with left-sided pancreatic cancer. The main question the study aims to answer is: Is spleen removal necessary in all cases, or is the risk of lymph node metastases in the fat around the spleen low enough to reconsider this standard practice? Currently, spleen removal is part of the standard treatment for patients with left-sided pancreatic cancer to ensure that any potential lymph node metastases in the surrounding fat are also removed. However, the likelihood of metastases in this area is low, and spleen removal carries risks. This study is a first step toward changing the treatment approach. If the findings show that metastases in the fat around the spleen are rare, the next step will be a randomized trial to further investigate whether spleen removal is necessary.

The goal of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of JX10 versus placebo in participants with Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS) who present for care within 4.5 to 24 hours. The main question the study aims to answer are: 1. JX10 improves functional outcomes as measured by the modified Rankin Scale score when compared with placebo following AIS. 2. Risk of symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage of JX10 in participants with AIS. During Part 1, participants will be randomized to JX 10 (1mg/kg, 3 mg/kg) or placebo. During Part 2, participants will receive JX10 (optimal dose chosen from Part 1) or placebo.

The main purpose of the SYNERGY-OUTCOMES study is to find out whether retatrutide and tirzepatide can prevent major adverse liver outcomes (MALO) in people with high-risk metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). The study will enroll adults who have MASLD based on non-invasive tests (NITs), which indicate they are more likely to develop MALO. Participants will be randomly assigned within a Master Protocol to receive either retatrutide (N1T-MC-RT01), tirzepatide (N1T-MC-TZ01) or placebo. The trial plans to enroll about 4,500 adults and will run for approximately 224 weeks. Participants may have up to approximately 25 to 30 clinic visits throughout the study to monitor their health, complete study procedures, and assess liver function and disease progression. Once the study is complete, eligible participants may participate in an optional 2-year extension study, in which all participants will receive either retatrutide or tirzepatide, even if they received placebo in the main study.

Small cell lung cancer (SCLC) is characterized by aggressive and rapid growth and a tendency to develop early spread to distant sites including mediastinal lymph nodes, liver, bones, adrenal glands, and brain. The purpose of this study is to assess safety, dose, change in disease activity of ABBV-706 given with atezolizumab, compared to standard of care (SOC) treatment (etoposide, carboplatin, atezolizumab, and optional lurbinectedin). ABBV-706 is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of SCLC. There are multiple treatment arms in this study. Participants will either receive ABBV-706 given with atezolizumab, at 1 of 2 doses, or SOC. Approximately 180 adult participants will be enrolled in the study across sites worldwide. In the safety lead-in, participants with SCLC will receive intravenous (IV) ABBV-706 in 1 of 2 doses with IV atezolizumab, or IV SOC. In the expansion portion of the study, participants with SCLC will receive IV ABBV-706 in 1 of 2 doses with atezolizumab, or IV SOC, until the optimal dose of ABBV-706 is determined. The estimated duration of the study is up to 69.5 months. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic and may require frequent medical assessments, blood tests, questionnaires, and scans.

The study will test whether GSK5460025 alone or in combination (potential combinations may be included in future amendments to the protocol) with other anti-cancer agents can decrease tumor size, is safe, well-tolerated, and how the drug is processed in the body over time.
